Barbara dearest
Try and forgive me and if you are anywhere near I should love you to come & spend a day & do some sketching or at any rate talk about doing it. This lovely golden autumn must not pass without a gesture of friendship between us two.
I hear you have left Bond St and are with your Mother. Be a Kind girl & come & see me. Perhaps you might find a little Green House that has been waiting for you this long time.
It is yours if you will come & fetch it.
I could give you lunch – tea & a bed at the Grey Hound now not so bulgy & of course you wld come any way artist friend - think it over & come if you can.
Lovingly Frances
