Studio . 7 Lambolle Rd N.W.3. Tuesday-
Cake came – very warmly welcome. I am more than equal to tackling it – alone & unaided. Nice of you to send it along – a great stand by. Great fun to read of your amusing & spirited account of the great Sabbath trek but how too godawful the reality must have been. A veil of Silence is drawn over the final stages. I hope you endured until the end & that the end was peace hot bath & good dinner.
I shall be seeing you before too long I hope but for the moment I must focus on work. Am finding it far from easy getting to grips with practical studio life after my jolly picnic days with you. And with you it is the same I expect. I am glad you are no worse for the dips in the Severn. Dined with B & B last night & saw their joint efforts for their Show. It opens 4th Nov. You are to have card.
I’ll write & fix a date for meeting just as soon as possible. I urgently want you to see Maedchen in Uniform
It is by a woman – don’t miss it
Lots of love & thanks F
