My Dearest Luce
It will take me all my lifetime thanking you. The post has brought me 3 things from you today you dear dear kind one – you are far too good to me. How you contrive all these last moment pretty things I cant imagine. I was at the Flat by 12 this morning & got keys & had a snack of lunch – sardine & cheese & back here to work. But Elton & Geoffrey Gorer came & spent the afternoon (wet) pie-jawing. Gone now & I am tidying up before going back to sleep at Flat.
Hope you had a good crossing & had a pleasant eveing in Paris. Who with? Do you like your Hotel?
I found the rosey dress & jewels. Thank you so much – I like them – just right. No more. Much love. Amusez vous bien Frances.
