Dearest Luce
Do let me know when you are coming to Town so that I may come & see you & thank you in person for yr great act of mercy sending me the money for my ticket & double the money as well. You shall have it all back as soon as my cheque comes in. I can’t sufficiently thank you. What a mess I would have been in without it. Bless you. I’ll tell you the whole long story when we meet. The money is to be refunded as soon as the ticket is traced which of course it will be, but meanwhile I had to get another ticket from Paris – here.
I saw millions of pictures. I also saw Colman out of the corner of my left eye – with his girl. I was with friends. I’ll tell you about the Zak Gallery when we meet.
Am cleaning my Studio it needs it. Waiting for the char & the window cleaner. There is a coat of black dust ½ inch thick over everything. Ugh!
Did I thank you for asking me to the Cottage I forget – I was in such a hurry. I must stop in London now for a bit. Thank you all the same.
My dear love to you & best thanks again & again. Till we meet Frances
