Best thanks for letter & enclosed safely come. Shortest & coldest days of the year. It is just on the edge of snowing. Work at a standstill – all still water is frozen hard & no sun visible – will send along some work presently.
Beleaguered here till the weather improves. Had a ravishing Xmas dinner of 2 leeks & 2 eggs of commerce but played gramophone & kept up our spirits & drank the red wine of St Jeannet.
