Dear Miss Selby
Jut a line to let you know I am expecting you on the 16th & to suggest your bringing over some good Water Colour paper with you as supplies here are very poor “Whatman “Hotpress” (I think 140lbs) is the best sort – a fairly heavy quality – several sheets of grey “Cox” & some ordinary cartridge paper for drawing purposes.
I shall be most grateful if you will bring a few extra sheets of Whatman for me – it is dutiable if sent through the post.
You come straight through to Montreuil from Boulogne. I will meet your train. Yours sincerely Frances Hodgkins.
Weather dry & sunny now & looks settled – has been very wet & cold.
