My dear Sissy
I was so sorry to see your dear sister had passed away.
Had you heard of her being ill? I have no doubt the discomforts & hardships of the past 9 years undermined her health. Marvelous how she came to the top of the tree by hard work & not giving in. Not to mention possessing genius.
How amusing she was, I always enjoyed being in her company. Hoping you are keeping well. Yours affect. old friend. Violet A. Turton.
