Dear Will
Just to say the cheque came safely & very many thanks. I am just off – 10 a m to Rotorua & hope to retrieve my fallen fortunes par la. Pouring here & very cold. Willie very seedy with toothache. They gave him a send off on Sat: night & presented a pair of Zeiss glasses. Willie drunk as a lord & very happy – left his boots at the gate & came home to bed in the small hours. They sail Manganui Friday week. Have met some of the county familes mostly Beethams & Williams.
Please forward letters if any to Lake House Rotorua. Will stay as long as money & fine weather last. No chance to work here. Love to all & plenty of thanks again. Yrs Frances
